The planned logistics-zone development projects cover a total area of more than 750 hectares. The railway development program предусматри investments of approximately MAD 134 billion by 2030, including the 430-kilometer high-speed rail line between Kenitra and Marrakesh. The Minister also noted that clean energy powers more than 90% of trains. Other projects include the Dakhla Atlantic Port, whose construction is expected to be completed by the end of 2028; the Lqliâa logistics zone, covering 45 hectares; the Zenata zone, with a total area of 379 hectares; and the Agadir dry port, which will cover 100 hectares.

He said that developing infrastructure and facilitating the movement of goods are essential to expanding trade, integration and development across the continent. He also noted that the Forum and Exhibition provide stakeholders and institutions with an opportunity to exchange expertise and explore practical partnerships in the sector.

The Forum provides a platform for discussion and the exchange of expertise on changes in the transport and logistics sector. Its program includes conferences, meetings and specialized workshops addressing the development of African corridors, stronger supply chains, digital transformation and the energy transition, multimodal infrastructure, sustainable mobility, trade facilitation, financing for major projects, innovation and artificial intelligence, and the competitiveness of logistics systems.

Alongside the scientific program, the international exhibition features professional exhibition spaces, bilateral business meetings between institutions and economic stakeholders (B2B and B2G), and presentations of innovative solutions and technologies. These activities aim to encourage investment, the exchange of expertise, the development of partnerships, and stronger South-South and triangular cooperation.
