Casablanca Hosts the Official Launch of a Moroccan Brand of Natural Cosmetics Made with Regulated Cannabis Oil

The Royal Mansour Casablanca hosted, on Friday, June 26, 2026, the official launch ceremony of the Moroccan brand MOROCCOCAN, specializing in natural skincare and cosmetic products formulated with regulated cannabis oil, under the theme:

“Morocco at the Origin, Quality in Essence”

The event brought together institutional figures, experts, professionals, business leaders, as well as artists, journalists, and dermatology specialists.

This initiative forms part of Morocco’s national strategy to enhance the value of its natural resources and develop related industrial sectors, in line with the vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, to promote an economy driven by innovation, productive investment, and the creation of high value-added value chains.

The launch ceremony was attended by a number of officials, experts, and stakeholders from the cosmetics and healthcare sectors. It also featured the presence of artists Raouia and Amal Saqr, while television host Rachid Allali served as the master of ceremonies.

This launch reflects the continued development of Morocco’s regulated cannabis sector, which is emerging as a promising field for the creation of innovative products combining locally sourced natural ingredients with internationally recognized quality standards.

MOROCCOCAN relies on Moroccan expertise in research, development, and production. The brand is licensed by the National Agency for the Regulation of Cannabis-Related Activities (ANRAC) and certified under ISO 22716, the international standard for Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in the cosmetics industry, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.

On this occasion, the brand unveiled eleven natural cosmetic products, developed using ingredients inspired by Morocco’s rich natural heritage, including ghassoul clay, argan oil, blue nila, and aker fassi, combined with regulated cannabis oil. These formulations bring together Morocco’s traditional heritage and scientific innovation in the field of skincare and cosmetics.

Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Karima El Haoudi, Chief Executive Officer of MOROCCOCAN, stated that this project goes beyond the launch of a new cosmetic range, representing a genuine national industrial vision built on innovation and the promotion of local resources.
