Delta Air Lines to launch its first route connecting Marrakech Menara Airport to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport in the USA October 2025
A new service to operate three times a week
Casablanca 28th Feb, 2025, As Delta Air Lines extends its network into Africa, it proudly announces the launch of its inaugural nonstop flight from Atlanta to Marrakech, Morocco, commencing on 25th October, 2025. This new route, operating three times a week, establishes a direct gateway to Morocco’s enchanting “Red City,” enhancing cultural and economic connections between the United States and Morocco. Additionally, Delta is introducing seasonal flights to Accra, Ghana, starting 1st December, to accommodate winter travel demands. With these additions, Delta is making both destinations more accessible while bringing its renowned premium experience to more of Africa.
Since its first African service in 2006, Delta has been dedicated to bridging distances between the U.S. and Africa. With over 7.5 million customers flown on these routes, Delta’s commitment continues to grow. Today, the airline serves five African destinations year-round, reinforcing its role in connecting diverse cultures.

The new Atlanta-Marrakech service not only underscores Delta’s commitment to facilitating international travel but also aligns with the Moroccan National Tourism Office’s strategy to make Morocco a prime destination for American tourists. The introduction of this direct flight marks a significant milestone in air travel, positioning Morocco as a key player in North African tourism. The Atlanta to Marrakech route (ATL-RAK) will be served by Delta’s Boeing 767-400ER, featuring luxurious Delta One suites, Delta Premium Select, and enhanced amenities across all cabins.
